Meet Eileen

This retreat is led by Yogalicious Owner Eileen Wallace with a guest or several guest teachers.

  • "Being a Public Health Nutritionist (Bsc Hons Human Nutrition) and Yoga Alliance accredited teacher I am really passionate about encouraging health & positive wellbeing to all. I first discovered yoga whilst at university and still remember the feeling of happiness after completing my first class. Yoga began to play a more important role in my life after realising the positive effect it was having on how I viewed the world, treated others and myself.I really love experimenting with yoga and have completed several teacher trainings; AntiGravity aerial yoga, 200hr Yogahaven Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga with David Swenson and Rocket Yoga. I really do love ‘all the yoga’ and particularly enjoy Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Dharma and Yin. I believe that yoga is the union of the mind, body and spirit, a place where we can find stillness on and off the mat, I believe that without compassion there is no yoga. I have also completed my Partner Acrobatics teacher training which has been a huge passion of mine over the last five years, I love the playfulness and trust involved in this hobbie and I am passionate about safely sharing this with others. My yoga classes are based on ‘Lila’ or ‘leela’ Sanskrit loosely translated as ‘playful’, a journey of self-discovery, compassion, imagination, laughter and overall playfulness. Within my classes there is no pressure or competition merely the desire to learn from that pure, curious, childlike state within.I am the owner of Yogalicious Yoga and Wellness studio in Shrewsbury which was one of my biggest dreams. This is a place where people can come and find their own individual yoga journey hopefully falling in love with the practice. I love teaching and regularly teach Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, yin, rocket, meditation and yoga nidra. I am forever grateful to all of my students and teachers”

‘Eileen and Tudor worked tirelessly to bring together a truly exceptional and affirming experience for their Spanish Acro and Yoga retreat. The whole week came together in such a beautiful way, that it left all of us - most of whom started as strangers- super connected and great friends!

We laughed (a lot!), we learned amazing new skills, the daily yoga practice was truly authentic, we ate delicious wholesome food every day, we chilled in the hot tub and watched movies into the night. The list goes on! The whole trip was perfect and my post holiday blues are still going strong! Thanks again everyone for making it an incredible week xx’
